Gamification is key when it comes to engagement. Each year we’re seeing an increase in donors as they continually come back to see what new and exciting features we have in store. The donors have the ability to participate in challenges, play trivia, and unlock bonus codes throughout the day which earns them real cash for their selected allocation. These features spark friendly competition across campus which is something students, alumni, staff, and parents look forward to each and every year. Aside from the fun and games, we also give the site a fresh new look with every campaign. We collaborate to define a concept and develop a themed page to amplify the vision.
During the campaign, the site is managed by the team through an admin panel that gives the client access to all donation information as well as the ability to update content on the site, change goals throughout the day, and set up and manage challenges. The challenge settings can limit who can participate, the qualifications needed to meet the challenge, and award a set dollar amount to the winning area of impact. Despite the flexibility of the admin panel, the team provides support during the 24 hours to ensure all runs smoothly for their donors.
